Backup, Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery · Madison, WI

Backup and disaster recovery, monitored and ready to restore.

Managed protection for servers, workstations and Microsoft 365, checked regularly and backed by a clear recovery plan.

Installing backup software isn’t the same as being protected. We verify every important system is covered, catch backups that have stopped working, and make sure copies are kept long enough.

The outcome is a managed business-continuity process. You are better positioned to recover from hardware failure, deletion, ransomware, corruption or a natural disaster.

Industries where this matters most

Backup and disaster recovery: common questions

Isn’t Microsoft 365 already backed up by Microsoft?

Microsoft keeps the service running, but recovering deleted or damaged mail, OneDrive and SharePoint data over the longer term is your responsibility. Microsoft 365 backup is a separate service; we make sure it’s included if that data matters to you.

How do we know our backups will actually restore?

We monitor backup jobs and alarms, escalate failures, look for systems that were missed, and review backup readiness at each technology business review, so you’re not finding out during an emergency.

Does backup protect us from ransomware?

Backups are a key part of recovering from ransomware, along with layered security that tries to stop it in the first place. We plan recovery around how your organization actually operates and which systems need to come back first.

What is business continuity?

It’s the plan for keeping the organization running when something goes wrong: which systems matter most, how long you can be without them, and how they get restored. Backup is one part of it.
